Montestyria: Michelin Guide awarded

In addition to the best restaurants, the famous tire manufacturer now also rates the best hotels in the world.
One, two or even three keys? The new Michelin Guide hotel rating system has officially been launched and the first outstanding hotels have been awarded according to the new key system. The hotels have to score points in five categories: Architecture, personality, service quality, value for money and the contribution they make to their surroundings.

The Hotel Montestyria Chalets & Suites in Mariazell belongs to this select circle. Together with 45 other hotels in Austria and as the only hotel in Styria, Montestyria was awarded one of the coveted keys. The international jury justified the awarding of the key to Montestyria as follows:
“Montestyria offers a very special stay – it is a true gem with its own character and personality and goes beyond the usual. Simply one of the best hotels of its kind. The service always goes the extra mile and offers far more than comparable hotels.”

The Hideaway Hotel Montestyria Mariazell Chalets & Suites in Mariazellerland in Northern Styria is characterized in particular by its premium chalets. The hotel has six chalets and two suites. A heated swimming pool and a bathing jetty on Lake Erlaufsee are also on offer. The surrounding Austrian natural landscape is ideal for skiing, hiking or simply relaxing. The sights in the famous pilgrimage town of Mariazell are also within walking distance.
